A 14-day motorcycle tour through a country with the wildest nature in the world!

Our tour begins at the border with Russia at the Tashanta Road Checkpoint.

From the city of Tsagaannuur we head towards the south-east, and finish in the north of the country. We will drive 3,600 kilometers through western, southern, central and northern Mongolia. We will drive an amazing route through Mongolia counterclockwise (see diagram):

Day 1. At the entrance to the border of the Russian Federation, we will purchase SIM cards, Internet. The city of Tsagaannuur. We are going to spend the night at Tolbo Nuur Lake (170 km). On the second day, an alternative route to the Potanin Glacier is possible (1 day round trip) + 250 km. We focus on the weather.

Day 2. 300 km. From Lake Tolbo Nuur we move south-east to the next settlement Deluin. Along the way, we stock up on clean mountain water. Dinner. After lunch, we drive into the gorge and move along the Bulgan River. The route is difficult, rocks. We make a halt in a tent camp by the river. Fishing.

Day 3. Along the Bulgan River, we head past the villages and get to the town of Burenkhairkhan. Purchase of food, rest, stock up on fuel, stop at a hotel.

Day 4. 480 km. From the city of Burenkhairkhan we are heading to Altai (Yesen). 160 km of perfect asphalt, we pass the mountain pass of the Mongolian Altai ridge and on the descent from it we turn into the valley leading to the Tonkhil tract. We are waiting for a great gravel road, where you can drive very quickly over rough terrain. We stop by our friends in an authentic yurt where the Mongols make delicious cheese, have lunch, rest and then head to the Altai city along a high-speed gravel road with beautiful views!

Day 5. 350 km. From Altai we will move to the village of Shinezhinst. The places are beautiful, asphalt / soil.

Day 6. Shineginst – Herman-Tsav – Gurvantes (250km). Herman Tsav Canyon is a large plateau of red sandstone, in which a canyon with narrow intricate labyrinths, multi-stage terraces and rocky cliffs was formed over millions of years under the influence of erosion. The road is a difficult section, but perhaps we will pass it quickly and get to Bogd, Then + 1 day savings on rest where you like.

Day 7. Gurvantes – Bogd (200km). We are already climbing higher to the north, but we are still moving through the Gobi Desert.

Day 8. Bogd – Guchin Us (100 km) – Arvayheer (100 km) – Kharkhorin (150 km). The road is divided into three segments, depending on the fatigue of the participants and the complexity of the road, we can stop at any of the points. One of the options is 40 km west of the route, the most famous waterfall of Mongolia is located, it is located on the right inflow of the Orkhon. After viewing, we move to Kharkhorin, there is purchase, fuel supplies, rest.

Day 9. Kharkhorin – Tsagaan-Nuur (300 km) easy road on asphalt, arrival before lunch, visit to the extinct volcano Khorgo – rest on the lake, fishing.

Day 10. Tsagaan-Nuur – Telman-Nuur (300 km). It is also not a difficult section on paved roads, but with the opportunity to drive into the mountains and foothills to beautiful locations.

Day 11. Telmen-Nuur – Ulangom (433 km). There is also an asphalt run to the west of the country to the city of Ulaangom. It is possible to stop in a yurt by the lake.

Day 12. Ulaangom – Border (242 km). As you understand, the route is scheduled for 12 days, and in the plan 14 days. This means that we have two days to rest in any place we like, as we get tired and for unforeseen situations.

The Grand Tour’s total mileage is approximately 3,600 km. 14 days, this is about 260 km per day on average for mileage.

14 ти дневный МотоТур через страну с самой дикой природой в мире!
Начинается наш тур у границы с Россией на АПП Ташанта.
Из города Цагааннуур мы направляемся в сторону юго-востока, а финишируем на севере страны. Мы проедем 3600 км по западной, южной, центральной и северной Монголии. Мы проедем удивительный маршрут по Монголии против часовой стрелки (см. схему):

1 день. На въезде с границей РФ приобретем сим карты, интернет. Город Цагааннуур. Направляемся на ночевку у озера Толбо Нуур (170 км). На второй день возможен альтернативный маршрут на Ледник Потанина (туда обратно 1 день) + 250 км. Смотрим по погоде.

2 день. С озера Толбо Нуур двигаемся на юго восток к следующему населенному пункту Делуин. По пути запасаемся чистой горной водой. Обед. После обеда заезжаем в ущелье и двигаемся вдоль реки Булган. Маршрут сложный, камни. Делаем привал в палаточном лагере у речки. Рыбалка. 300км.

3 день. Вдоль реки Булган направляемся мимо поселков и попадаем в г. Бурэнхайрхан. Закуп продуктов, отдых, запасаемся топливом, остановка в гостинице.

4 день. Из города Бурэнхайрхан держим путь на г. Алтай (Есен). 160 км идеального асфальта, проезжаем горный перевал хребта Монгольского Алтая и на спуске с него сворачиваем в долину ведущюю к урочищу Тонхил.  нас ждет отличная гравийная дорога, где можно очень быстро проехать по пересечённой местности. Заезжаем к нашим знакомым в аутентичную юрту где монголы делают вкусный сыр, обедаем, отдых и после  направляемся до г. Алтай так же по скоростной гравийной дороге с красивыми видами! (480км).

5 день. От г. Алтай двинем до поселка  Шинэжинст. Места красивые, асфальт/грунт. 350км.

6 день. Шинэжинст – Хэрмэн-Цав – Гурвантес (250км). Каньон Хэрмэн Цав представляет собой большое плато из красного песчаника, в котором за миллионы лет под воздействием эрозии образовался каньон с узкими запутанными лабиринтами, многоступенчатыми террасами и скалистыми утёсами. Дорога – сложный участок, но возможно пройдем его быстро и доедем до г.Богд, тогда +1 день экономия на отдых где понравится.

7 день. Гурвантес – Богд (200км). Уже поднимаемся выше на север, но все еще двигаемся по пустыне Гоби.

8 день. Богд – Гучин Ус (100км) – Арвайхээр (100км) – Хархорин (150км).

Дорога разбита на три отрезка, в зависимости от усталости участников и сложности дороги можно остановится в любой из точек. Один из вариантов в 40 км на запад от маршрута, расположен самый знаменитый водопад Монголии, расположен он на правом притоке Орхона. Остановка на ночлег в юртах близ водопада. После просмотра двигаемся до Хархорина, там закуп, запасы топливом, отдых.

9 день. Водопад – Вулкан Горго (380км) легкая дорога по асфальту, приезд после обеда, посещение потухшего вулкана Горго – отдых на озере, рыбалка.

10 день. Вулкан Горго – Тэлмен-Нуур (300 км). Так же не сложный участок по асфальтированным дорогам, но с возможностью заехать в горы и предгорья на красивые локации.

11 день. Тэлмен-Нуур – Улаангом (433км). Также асфальтный пробег на запад страны в город Улаангом. Возможно остановка в юрте у озера.

12 день. Улаангом – Граница (242 км).
Как вы поняли маршрут расписан на 12 дней, а в плане стоит 14 дней. Это значит что у нас есть два дня на отдых в любом понравившемся месте по мере усталости и на непредвиденные обстоятельства.
Общий пробег Grand Tour составляет примерно 3600км. 14 дней, это примерно по 260км в среднем по пробегу.
